Ferrule-Secured Eye Termination - The simple turn back loop is formed by turning the Rope back on its self to form a loop and securing with a ferrule pressed on two parts of the Rope, the ferrule is usually aluminium - to suit Ropes 1mm to 52mm. The Flemish Eye Loop is formed by splitting the Rope into two parts, reforming it into a Loop and securing the ends with a pressed steel ferrule - to suit Ropes 3/8" to 2.1/2".
